Insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
We’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
We also are providers for several Employee Assistant Programs (EAP). Please contact your HR department and ask if you have an EAP you can use.
Payment Methods
At EP Counseling, we respect your right to choose how you pay for services. We offer several convenient options and always give you choice—as long as balances are kept current.
We gladly accept:
- Cash
- Checks
- Zelle
- Credit/debit cards
Card on File Requirement To make scheduling simple and keep sessions uninterrupted, we ask every client to keep a valid credit or debit card securely on file. This card is required to reserve or hold any appointment (new or ongoing).
You always decide exactly how the card is used:
- Most clients choose auto-charge for copays/deductibles the same day as the session (super convenient—no need to remember!).
- Others prefer to pay manually after each visit
The card on file will only be charged automatically in these situations:
- Balances remaining 90 days after service
- When services have been discontinued and a balance remains
- Or with your prior permission (e.g., if you choose auto-charge)
We will always send friendly reminders first and are happy to work out alternative arrangements if needed—just let us know ahead of time.
It is your responsibility to keep your card information current. If it expires or is declined, simply log into your secure client portal to update it in 20 seconds (or we can help you over the phone).

Cancellation Policy
We do charge a cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours.
